this is the snow that i took from the pier after the workshop.
i would like to display it in 2 tester spray bottles (the kind that can be found in a drug store for testing some kind of cosmetic)each with the title "synchronicity"
i would like to dipslay it with instructions on how to use it properly:
you must stand facing a partner - each partner sprays the other with "synchronicity". the partners briefly touch with sprayed part only.
Nice idea! Some thoughts....Would the archivists of the future have to use the snow from the halifax harbour or could they use other snow/water sources? What if snow and harbour water becomes so polluted that it becomes a health hazard (which is a growing problem and concern). Should the archivists be using special equipment to extract snow/water in the future? Would people have to wear safety gear to cover their skin?
I just wanted to say that I really like how the surface of the water in the jar resembles the surface of the water in melanie's photos. it's really beautiful.
